A Soul to Seduce, ch. 16

First of all, still sick. I'm currently lying in bed posting this, and grateful that it's a 3-day weekend and Craig *isn't* sick. Because that would just blow.

Secondly, thank you *so much* to whoever nominated Soul over at the Fang Fetish Awards! I love this story and am pleased others are enjoying it enough to go out of their way to nominate it. Thank you!

TITLE: A Soul to Seduce
AUTHOR: Eurydice
RATING: NC17 eventually
SETTING: This is set immediately after the AtS S5 episode, “Damage,” but will veer from canon at that point. You’ll very quickly see how. :)
PAIRINGS: Spike/Buffy, Wes/Faith, Lindsey/OC
DISCLAIMER: Not mine, which is a shame because usually we're nicer to them than Joss was.
SUMMARY: When Buffy finds out Spike's alive, she shows up in Los Angeles to demand answers, only to find herself immediately immersed in a web of deceit and betrayal. Who to trust becomes the million dollar question, and her life turns into a race to solve it. Before it's too late for everyone.
PREVIOUSLY ON BUFFY: Gemma suggested she could be Lindsey’s friend, though for what in exchange, he has no idea; Buffy and Spike had a fight about his return; Angel found out Gemma was looking for him and decided to arrange a meeting; and Wes sent Faith up to his office to try and relax after they discovered Angel had orchestrated the mind wipe, staying behind to find out if Records had anything on Dana and the Senior Partners…

There is a primer for this now, in case you need help keeping track.

The story begins here.

Clicky time!

So, I saw a few someones on my flist this weekend posting WIP's in response to wip_amnesty. Apparently, they declared this an amnesty weekend on those stories languishing on our hard drives. Which got me thinking about one I have. It's one I've had on my hard drive for...a year and a half. And I'm torn for the following reasons:

1. It's only got 3 chapters completed (chapter 4 is only partially done).
2. It's *hugely* indulgent. As far as premises go, I pretty much ripped off myself in order to have fun.
3. The plot is...thin. It's a gimmick fic. I'll be the first person to admit that.
4. But it makes me laugh and smile to re-read and think about.

So...Poll time! Tell me what you think!

Poll #930269 WIP Amnesty

Do I post a 3-chapter WIP that I adore but sincerely doubt will ever be finished?

Yes! Any fic is good fic!
No! What's the point in getting sucked into a story if I can't ever finish it?
Shouldn't you be working on A Soul to Seduce instead of wondering about other fic?
Who has time to read fic any more?
