Eurydice's Ramblings

We're off to Oakland Zoo today. Alicia has a birthday party with one of her little mates there, so since the party is over at 12:30, we're making it a family day. It means I don't get any writing or anything done around the house, but this is way more important. I get to spend time with my kids and husband, yay!

Wonderful day at the zoo. It's not a big one, and it's definitely not good for older kids, but Craig and I adored it. It is just big enough to hold even Alex's attention for nearly 2 hours before Alex's energy faltered, and small enough that we weren't exhausted. We're going to get memberships because it'll end up being cheaper that way and we can go to all the extra events they host. Definitely worth it for us.

Tomorrow is going to be another busy one. Rearranging the garage so that my new freezer can finally get a home. Making it so that we can actually *use* the weights. Maybe unpacking the last of the boxes from the move, lol.

I owe rockgoddes an e-mail, and I really need to get some writing done, but I'm just a wee bit tired. It's going to have to wait until tomorrow.
