eurydice james: pepperlandgirl4

(no subject)

Craig and I are working up on finishing S2 of Smallville. Tonight, we saw the first episode that Christopher Reeve guest-starred in, and now I'm all sad in remembering him and everything he did in the last few years of his life. I'll admit, I was never a huge fan of Reeve's acting prior to his accident (though he has my absolute favorite line in "Noises Off"), but I grew to be a tremendous admirer of the man afterward. It was heartwrenching seeing him in this; I wasn't expecting it, though I probably should've been.

We're actually enjoying the show more than when we started. Lana still annoys the crap out of me, but I'm not as put-off by Welling or Schneider. It's still not Buffy or a fandom I'm interested in pursuing, and I'm nowhere near as rabid about watching it as I am about House or Boston Legal, but still, I definitely don't feel like I'm wasting my time. Plus, gotta love the ambiguity of Lex. I can understand the Michael Rosenbaum fans completely. :)

Less than 3 weeks until the season premiere and more James (albeit a mere flash of him there). Have to say I'm happy about that.
