Fic stuff

Well, I'm still in catch-up mode from the end of Frost, but I'm hoping to get through the bulk of what remains some time today. I've been slightly incommunicado the past couple days because of the blurbs that were due yesterday (all done, woo hoo!), and because I posted my entry at the watchersdiaries yesterday. For those who are really bored and desperate for something to read, feel free to go take a look at it. It's called "The Artist" and is the story of a Slayer called in Paris in the early twenties. Well, it's almost more about her Watcher, but you get the idea. :) While you're there, take a look at the other entries. There's been some really good stuff written for this so far. :)

And now on to the real purpose of this post. Collapse )

Now I'm off to cook breakfast for the family. A relaxing day ahead at last. :)

So, catching up on e-mail today? Didn't happen. I took it off in a huge way and now I'm completely vegging on the couch while Craig watches Twister on TV. Did manage to get my writing done, though, which is a good thing.

Craig's sick again, poor guy. He's been living on Nyquil for the past week as it's the only way he can sleep, and he's got little voice left. Plus, he had a bitch of a time this morning at Hallmark. Do you know how hard it is to do the Mother's Day thing when the US and the UK have it at different times, and we're now in the country that celebrates it *later*? He had to get generic, I love you cards that we'll personalize, and then come May, we'll have to buy extra for next year so that we don't have that headache again. Blech.

So, this particular motivational thought seems only right:

Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage. - W.E. Channing
