Randomosity

I feel like I've been cut off from the world; I'm so far behind on e-mail and LJ that it isn't even funny. But the past two days have been busy with holiday stuff and it ain't over yet. I'm baking today, and I have 4 more kinds of cookies to do. The citrus bars are currently in the oven, and I've managed to do the crispy caramel treats, rumballs, smores bars, maple-date cookies, and almond sweets. That leaves the ginger cookies, the pecan pie bars, the sugar cookies, and the cherry coconut drops, but only the ginger ones are getting done today. The rest are for tomorrow. I'm debating adding another kind or two, but that's going to depend on how much stuff I have left over and what kind of mood I'm in tomorrow afternoon.

I'm about halfway through my LJ comments, so hopefully I'll be caught up on that soon.

Somewhere in the midst of the cookies, I've got LLGA caught up. Some wonderful stories nominated already, but don't be shy about nominating more, people! :)

And I owe thank yous to i_digress_uk for the gorgeous surprise that came in the post (you shouldn't have!), to evenstar_estel for the beautiful earrings and bracelet, and to rockgoddes, josephine_64 and poetlover for the cards. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
