Just a quick drive by...

...because I have to get back to the house for the delivery of our couch. I spent 6 hours out yesterday, driving around and getting lost and looking in consignment shops and everything, and found a store less than 2 miles from our house that just has the coolest stuff. So, I dragged Craig back there after he got home tonight and we walked away with the couch I liked so much the first time around (a lovely navy/red plaid, very country cottage-y, that doesn't even look like it's been used) for $200. I'm going to go back once we have our stuff and pick up more things because there were so many bits that I like, but just can't justify right now.

Oh, and I have a phone. Kind of. People can call me, but I can't call out. Stupid phone company being on strike.

We also ran out to Best Buy last night and got a TV, so I got to see Fantasia win. I will admit, I cried. I just love her and am glad to see her win. And the cable gets hooked up on Sunday, so no more cut off from the outside world.

This time next week, I'll be in Pennsylvania for MR! Woo hoo!

Oh, and I got more written today, but of course, can't really share it with you because of that whole not really being able to upload anything without having a huge headache. I'm such a tease...

Spent 2 hours on the phone with angstchic which meant that my ironing didn't get done, which is actually a good thing because I hate ironing with a passion. Not that I don't love angstchic in her own right, but I love her even more because she saved me from getting even more wet. Don't ask.

Hope everyone is doing well! Hugs all around!

By the way...Have I mentioned yet how happy I am about being in California? This was *so* the right thing for us to do. As stressful as this past week has been, I haven't been this happy in absolute yonks. At least, not without having been artificially stimulated to happiness by witnessing JM in person. Does that make me sound like a perv that I talk about JM artificially stimulating me? God, I wish...

OK, babbling now. Bye! :D
