I'm Eurydice, or eurydice72 here and on AO3. I've been around for yonks, it feels like. I started out on LJ almost twenty years ago, left for a little while, and now I'm back. Back then, it was All About Spuffy. BtVS was the first fandom I'd ever gone completely gaga for. Like completely. Watched the shows. Did the conventions. Wrote the fanfic. I bought so much Buffy merchandise that our guest room was dubbed the Buffy room for over a decade. Since then, I've tumbled into the Merlin fandom (mostly Percival/anyone, but also Merlin/Morgana, Arthur/Gwen), where I'm one of the mods over at Camelot Drabble. There have been smaller forays, like Hunger Games and Black Sails, but my first and greatest love will always be Buffy.
I'm a displaced Midwesterner married to a Brit, currently living in California. I lived in the UK for five years when we got married, which was where my two kids were born. They're both in college now, but they've been at home the past year because of the lockdowns. I can't say that I can complain about that. My daughter is a junior at GW in DC, and my son is a freshman at UC Santa Cruz. I talk about them a lot because I'm so proud of the adults they've grown into. I'm a theatre geek and recently got back into doing community theatre. I also work part-time at our local library. My inner 7 y/o is still giddy about that because I love books so much. I started writing original romance back in 2005, and I've been publishing ever since (though Amazon is killing quality by driving small publishers out of business and making it too easy for people who really need editors to flood the market--I might be a little opinionated on the topic). I write pretty much every flavor of romance you can think of, from sweet to spicy, het to m/m to menage, historical to paranormal. I get bored easily and hate doing the same thing over and over again, and it translates to what I focus on. As hobbies, I dabble in a lot of different crafts like crocheting and beading, as well as cook and bake. I adore baking.
And that's enough of me rambling, I think. :)
