Not treating

Though there are people in my town who are doing trick-or-treating, we kept our lights out and doors shut. Thankfully, nobody rang the bell because Chico goes a little crazy when they do. And seriously, I don't get why people would take the risk. I really don't. Over 99k new cases in the US on Friday, shattering the world record. Take this shit seriously, people. But I'm preaching to the choir here, I know.

Other than that, it was a laid back day. Laundry, catching up on stuff, watching TV with Alicia...I woke up feeling more energetic than I have all week, which was a bonus. Oh, and I did run out to our game store to pick up an online order I'd made earlier this week. They were having a final clearance on a whole bunch of games, all marked $5, so Alex picked up two of those, too, including one for Alicia for Christmas.

I might actually get to write tomorrow. What a novelty.

Last meme question of the month: What’s the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?
I'm not a big horror movie fan because I scare very easily. I'm not even sure that the movie that probably scared me the most when I saw it the first time would classify as horror. I think it's put under sci-fi usually, but it scared the bejeezus out of me so badly that when Craig and I walked out of the matinee we'd gone to, I made him take me to the brightest, sunniest place we could find for the next couple hours. The movie was Pitch Black.

  • 30-day Challenge - Day 6...except not really

Day 6: What band or musician is most important to you? I'm going to flake out on this question, mostly because I don't have one. I like a lot…
