The covid test wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. They have just recently switched to a new one that doesn't go as deep into the nasal cavity, which I had been dreading. This was a shorter swab that swirled around the inside of each nostril five times. Considering I use a nasal spray every day for my allergies, it was pretty much a piece of cake.
I really don't expect it to be positive. I haven't developed any other symptoms and nobody else in the house is exhibiting anything. That doesn't mean I'm slacking off on trying to keep them safe until I know for sure, though. I wear my mask when I leave the room, which is hardly ever. No touching of anybody, which is rough. I don't touch anything communal without wiping it down. I don't know if I'm going to find out before the weekend, though it would be nice to get some clarity.
