My productivity improves. I'm taking that as a win.

And because of that, today's quote seems apt:

"You should mistrust what you think about writing when you’re not writing. There’s a certain expression: 'When I’m in my head, I’m in a bad neighborhood.' Another one is, 'My best thinking is what got me into this quagmire.' If we think about writing but don’t proceed to the act of writing, we fall back on sentimental or childish explanations for our inactivity." ~David Milch
