Well, I got my smut done yesterday to get our submission in. Hopefully, they like the anthology pepperlandgirl4 and I put together. My solo story is about an ex-priest who sees demons and the artist who falls for him.

I'm in catch-up mode on house stuff for the time I was gone. We're supposed to take part in a neighborhood yard sale on Saturday...ha! Yeah, I'm not so sure that's going to be happening. But we'll see.

What else...? Oh, did I mention my in-laws and Craig's aunt (the widow of the uncle who just passed) are coming for 5 weeks starting the 29th? And I leave for Utah on the 30th to go see Pepper, lol. Only for a week, and it can't be helped with the timing since that's all about Pepper's graduation and seeing Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová (the pair from "Once") perform. I'm *really* looking forward to it.

Fic keeps taunting me. I have the two little ficlets I've written for LAS so far this round that I'll post some time, and now that the worst of my edits are past for the moment, I can go back to working on getting everything ready in the new LLG website. At the rate I'm going, I won't be done until Christmas, lol.

Which means I should probably get off the computer now and get ready for my day. Hope everybody has a good one!

Sometimes, I truly loathe being female. I hate being pretty much leveled for nearly 2 days every month. Thank God for Midol for mild relief.

Trying to clean up 5 y/o code in preparation for getting a new layout/design at LLG is probably the last thing I should be doing when I'm short-tempered. And why the hell didn't anybody stop me from writing such long stories?!? *headdesks*

So I've been in get it done mode since New Year's. There's a lot of things that I'd let slide that have since gotten tackled, and I'm feeling hugely proactive right now. But there is one thing that I think I need to do that is long, long overdue.

I want to update Love's Last Glimpse. It's way outdated, it's clunky to update, and I stopped writing exclusively Spuffy years ago. OK, I haven't written much of anything in the past year, but honestly, I think if I had a site that was easier to update/maintain, I'd be more inclined to write again.

So I'm appealing to my flist.

I really love the way my professional sites look and are coded. They use CSS so all I have to do is add content and play around a bit to make them look the way I want. Here's the Jamie Craig site, and here's the Vivien Dean site. If it wasn't a fan site, I'd totally go hit up the very talented woman who designed these and Pepper's site and hire her to do one for LLG. But it's fanfiction, and that makes me feel a little funny since she's a professional I work with in the original writing world.

Is there anybody on my flist who might be capable of creating something similar to these? I would make it worth your while, I promise.
