Poor Spike! Did he pop back up in a reverse process of the amulet, from dust to charred flesh to healing? And why would Lurky call him back there if he wasn't going to help Spike's agony? It doesn't sound like he's fed, so I don't know how he's supposed to heal.

Interesting that Xander made the assumption that Spike and Buffy were a lot closer than they were. Well, she hardly talked to Spike about anything, unless she had to. She still couldn't handle saying much to him at all, not that Spike didn't try at times. But if it might have been important...nah, Buffy didn't really take the time.
